I'm Tashai! I've been a dedicated mental health professional since 2020, offering compassionate support to individuals, couples, and families. My work spans private, court-mandated, and DFCS-referred clients, with a focus on addressing anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, anger management, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders.
In addition to counseling, I served as a Clinical Case Manager, collaborating with Recovery Treatment Courts to support clients navigating the legal system. My mission was to guide individuals on their journey to sobriety while emphasizing the vital role of mental health in their well-being.
My therapeutic approach is client-focused. I use CBT to help replace negative thoughts and behaviors with positive ones. Through a Person-Centered approach, I offer compassion, nonjudgmental listening, and encouragement, creating a supportive space to acknowledge and validate each client’s unique experiences.
