I get it, finding the right therapist can be hard! Maybe you've tried a handful or two over the past few years. I know change can be scary, stress is overwhelming, transitions through life can be difficult, and some people are just jerks! I provide a warm, inviting, comfortable space where you're able to relax, say exactly what you're feeling, and believe you have someone who's actually "listening" to you. Though I can't guarantee everything will end up perfectly, I can guarantee you will feel heard, understood, and be provided skills and tools to manage life and the specific circumstances you're facing.
I provide a listening ear; coffee if needed; a fist bump for those telling me about their accomplishments since their last session; a super comfy couch where you can lay down, stretch out, put your feet up on, and talk it all out. I also provide the disinfectant wipes to wipe said couch down after you're done so someone else will be able to relax as well.
All of us practitioners have initials behind our names that say we have the postgraduate level book smarts, years of internships and clinical supervision, and the licenses to practice in the world of therapy. All of these initials mean nothing if you don't have a genuine therapeutic alliance with the therapist you're working with. How 'bout we give it a try!
