My treatment approach is eclectic in nature, but I mainly use psychodynamic therapy in my practice. Clients would would benefit from my services if they are ready to examine and develop insight into how past experiences impact their present lives. Clients should expect to be validated and gently challenged in therapy in order to get through the mental blocks that keep them stuck in repeating the same self-destructive patterns.
I help clients develop personal insight into emotions and behavior patterns, and use this insight to encourage positive life changes. I also specialize in racial and sexual minority populations including those in the African American and LGBTQ community. I do not practice couples/family therapy and I am only seeing folks individuals for individual therapy.

Groups
Mind/Body Strength Training
Mind/Body Strength Training seeks to help folks manage their mental wellbeing while also incorporating strength building physical activities. With everything that is going on in this country, it's more important for folks from historically oppressed communities to feel strong of mind and body. Therefore I'm currently opening this group to people who identify as a BIPOC woman, AFAB, trans, or nonbinary individual. Each week we will meet virtually for group talk therapy and afterwards you will be led through a strength training session with a certified fitness instructor.
