Hello! I am Taras Stashkiv, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have been in this field since 2015 and my experience comes from working with children, adults, and families with various presenting problems and issues. Since we are all unique individuals with different needs, I aim to help in a way that works most effectively for you. Whether you just need to be heard, better understand your current life situation, or develop new skills and techniques to reduce your anxiety/presenting problem, I commit myself to this work and our therapeutic relationship.
When I start working with you, I try to get to know you and your current life situation so that we can develop a goal and ways to get there together. My work includes utilizing various techniques and evidenced-based practices from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Spirituality, and Solution Focused Strategies.
