Hi I'm Tara! I am an Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I know seeking therapy can seem overwhelming and my hope is that I can join you on your journey of healing and finding yourself. I believe in breaking intergenerational cycles of trauma. I am allied with the LQBTQ+ community. I have worked with children, teens, and adults with a spectrum of needs and have found benefit in using evidence based interventions. I have experience treating ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, eating disorders and body image, anger, impulse control, behavioral challenges, oppositional defiant, PTSD, and more.
I have experience working with survivors of childhood trauma. I also have expertise in addressing sexualized behavior in children and adolescents, through education on boundaries, safety, and trauma processing. I am trained in Trauma-Focused CBT. I continue to seek opportunities to learn and gain more knowledge to serve my clients.
I would enjoy learning more about you and would be glad to walk on this journey with you, while offering support and a safe place.
