"Life isn't about finding yourself. Life's about creating yourself," George Bernard Shaw. I provide a safe, supportive and encouraging environment to help you tackle life's challenges. I have worked with individuals battling addiction, navigating life transitions, and coping with trauma. I enjoy helping individuals confronting addiction, addressing LGBT issues and sexual identity questions, and teenagers emerging into adults. While much of therapy analyzes problems, I create a positive environment that will emphasize your strengths and accomplishments so that you can attain your goals.
I have extensive experience guiding individuals through the criminal justice system, helping clients attain and maintain sobriety, and assisting client's through major life changes. In addition, I utilize EMDR to help clients cope with traumas and anxieties. One of my greatest joys is to see client's succeed in achieving their goals!
I often see people when they feel helpless and broken. Watching clients develop a new sense of self while working through the challenges of addiction, trauma, and family issues, creates a unique and successful atmosphere for healing. Finding the best therapeutic connection is critical. If I am not the right therapist for you, I will help find you them! :)
