I am a relational, psychodynamic therapist working with both individuals and couples. I specialize in supporting LGBTQ+ adults. I approach treatment with warmth, non-judgment, and unconditional positive regard to help clients gain insight and self awareness. Our work is collaborative and fosters empowerment to address areas of concern. I view individuals as experts of their own lived experiences. My practice is trauma-informed and affirming of alternative lifestyles and relationship structures. Some common areas of concern for clients I work with include anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, Autism, gender identity and relationships.
As a psychodynamic therapist I use approaches that promote thoughtfulness and self-reflection. I draw from modalities such as IFS and contemporary psychoanalysis that seek to increase self-awareness and insight. At times I use structured approaches such as ACT, or DBT. The work begins with getting to know more about you and where you are in your life.
I feel passionate about supporting people seeking to discover and become the best version of themselves. I feel privileged to be able to create a space where people feel safe, seen, heard, and supported to make changes.
