Often my clients have been in traditional talk therapy but something still felt missing or unaddressed. They come to me looking to deepen their mental and emotional well being with something more. Most of my clients struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, people pleasing, and/or boundary setting. Nearly all of my clients have experienced something in their lives that's left them changed in some way such as unhealthy romantic relationships, chronic illness, or a traumatic childhood.
I'm a Level 1 trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist via the IFS institute. My primary specialty is trauma. IFS is an experiential modality that goes beyond talking. Somatic therapy components are interwoven in the practice. My clients become empowered from our work and are able to make immensely beautiful changes in their lives.
Last, I’d simply like to acknowledge what an accomplishment it is to be where you’re at already. Looking for a therapist in and of itself means you’ve already started the beginnings of something new.
