As a dedicated mental health therapist serving the Black Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) community, I specialize in guiding both adults and children toward emotional stability and healing. My approach combines evidence-based techniques with a culturally sensitive understanding of the unique challenges faced by those in our communities. I am dedicated to helping families break the stigma surrounding mental health, creating a safe and supportive environment for healing. With specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Play Therapy, I offer unique and effective approaches to help both children and adults navigate their traumatic experiences. EMDR allows clients to process distressing memories, facilitating healing and emotional resilience.
Meanwhile, Play Therapy provides a safe and engaging space for children to express themselves and work through their feelings in a developmentally appropriate way. By integrating these techniques, I aim to empower individuals towards their healing and growth on their journey toward emotional well-being.
