Hi! I’m Tanya, and I and a part of the Help and Hope Counseling team. I am here to listen. Having been on my own personal journey towards healing, from a young age I was curious about how to help people live their best lives. I love to meet people where they are in their journey and walk alongside them to where they want to be. Deep down, we are all looking for connection and understanding. As we move through life, we inevitably encounter situations and events that make us feel isolated and alone. My purpose is to cultivate a therapeutic experience in-person or via telehealth that is collaborative, comfortable, and offers hope.
I have experience working with individuals, adolescents, children, and families. My background as a school counselor has prepared me to work with a diverse range of clients. My goals in working with my clients are to help you discover what you feel, your strengths, that you can help yourself. I am here to provide support for your change.
In addition to being a counselor, I am a wife and mother of three. My own personal history of growing up in a family that was dealing with addiction, trauma, and mental health issues has given me empathy and specific insight developed through firsthand experience. These experiences have shaped me as an individual and as a counselor.
