I enjoy research based therapies and assessment in my work with kids, parents and adults. Every day we have a chance to make small changes towards understanding ourselves and our loved ones. I often have patients come to me for a second opinion, explaining that they feel they have been misdiagnosed or that simply “talking” to someone with less training was frustrating. I strive for an accurate understanding of my patients and their needs. I do not base diagnoses on viral TikToks or social trends. As a psychologist, I have made it my life's work to stay informed by research and to help people feel understood and challenged to grow.
Dr. Masin specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), pediatric neuropsychological testing, and forensic parent fitness evaluations. Skilled assessment is paramount in distinguishing among often subtle symptoms, which may be related to sleep disturbances, anxiety, learning disorders, behavioral issues, ADHD, autism, depression and even giftedness.
Dr. Masin is the parent of four wonderful children. She has been on 'both sides of the fence', both as an advocate for her children and as a Committee on Special Education Chairperson in New York. She offers in-office therapy, telehealth and testing appointments to patients in Texas and New York.

A chance to learn and practice social skills in a safe and friendly environment. With short, guided lessons on common social skills deficits (i.e reading the room, think it or say it). Great for kids with mild autism (formerly called Asperger's) and well managed ADHD. Candidates will need to be pre-screened to ensure they are a good fit and can follow directives.
