I understand that often the most difficult step in getting help is reaching out for the first time. I want you to know that I can empathize. I became a professional counselor and have a true passion for what I do because I know evidence-based counseling works. There is HOPE. I want my clients to know they have found a safe place and someone to walk with them through their healing journeys. My specialties are trauma, depression, anxiety, and attachment-related issues. I primarily use EMDR and CBT, as well as other evidence-based counseling techniques, such as IFS and AFTT-A.
I am an EMDR Certified Therapist (See EMDRIA.org for more information on EMDR trauma therapy). I am a National Certified Counselor. I am also trained in Attachment Focused Trauma Therapy for Adults (AFTT-A) and am an Internal Family Systems (IFS) Informed Therapist.
