I AM NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS AT THIS TIME. My clients have gone through traumatic or disorienting experiences, and struggle with depression, anxiety, or relational challenges. I have over 30 years of experience helping to resolve such issues, and assisting people to develop healthy, fulfilling lives. True freedom is the ability to respond to what life presents with a unified sense of identity and purpose. It is my honor to assist struggling individuals to recover this ability.
I work well with individuals struggling with PTSD, and Dissociation, which are heroic responses to trauma and invalidation. I also have a special interest in working with individuals with gender or sexuality concerns. These issues are complex and difficult even under ideal circumstances, and more so in the realities of our current culture.
My approach is one of respect, warmth, and attention to the dignity of every person. I offer cutting edge treatment techniques, such as DBT and EMDR, but maintain a psychodynamic framework for understanding my clients' emotional and therapeutic needs. Every unique person deserves attuned attention, expert assistance, and real hope.
