I am currently seeking my Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies in the Couple and Family Therapy track.
I have worked with people who experience anxiety, depression, distress in romantic relationships, parenting struggles, and children’s problematic behaviors. In my therapy, I use cognitive behavioral therapy, and aspects of play therapy, and I enjoy parenting interventions—I am informed in the evidenced-based parenting model generation PMTO.
I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I come from a family systems theory background meaning the family unit (whatever it may look like) influences and has a ripple effect on each other’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
