I have worked extensively with children and adolescents. I specialize in providing services for transgender, gender-expansive youth, and their families. I create a space that is non-judgmental and encouraging to promote growth and understanding. I assist the client in gaining the skills to make their own self-discoveries and develop new ways of coping.
I view clients as the experts of their lives as we explore it together. With a mix of humor and respectful inquiry, I facilitate seeing the world through a new lens, which then opens the possibilities of new positive outcomes. Therapy can help people find words for previously unsayable things, unthinkable thoughts, and emotions that felt too hard to bear.
