For over 10 years, I have worked successfully with clients of varying demographics, diagnoses, and life experiences. In my work with clients, I build a solid rapport with them, and team up to explore and define problems, develop future goals for an improved life, and work in a systematic fashion to realize those goals. My treatment approach is integrative, which involves tailoring therapy to suit clients by combining ideas and techniques from different therapeutic approaches.
I tend to utilize interventions from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy or Cognitive Behavior Therapy. At Balm of Gilead Christian Counseling Center, we recognize how pivotal our clients' spirituality is to their overall well-being. I am therefore open to incorporating scripture and prayer in sessions as needed.
I aim to help my clients improve their functionality by reducing symptomology, enhancing dynamics of integral systems, and promoting personal growth/resilience.
