When working with you, I acknowledge that you are coming with a story that needs to be told. I understand it can be hard to open up and I try to make the space feel like home where you can be free to express yourself. I primarily work with children, adolescents, young adults who are people of color/ BIPOC, Neurodiversity, LGBTQAI+, and perinatal and postpartum. I commonly work with clients on childhood trauma, anxiety/depression, identity exploration, emotional regulation, intimacy, and life transitions.
Sometimes life can feel heavy in ways that it may be difficult to explain through words. During our sessions, we will explore those parts of yourself that may feel hard to explain. Together, we may use paintings, drawings, writings or other creative approaches to explore emotions, relationships, and identity in a way that feels comfortable for you.
Therapy can be challenging, but I am here sit with you through the hard moments. Therapy with me is a collaboration and we are going to work together to make decisions. During our sessions we will laugh, but I also want you to feel challenged. Come as you are and I will meet you in that moment.
