Hello! I am a bilingual Registered Play Therapist that offers play therapy for children ages 3-18 years old who experience anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress symptoms, ADHD, autism, mood disorders, and behavioral challenges. I practice from a client-centered approach where I allow the client to lead their sessions. Dr. Landreth said “In play therapy, toys are viewed as the child’s words and play as the child’s language.” In therapy, I have witnessed incredible bravery, compassion, and trust. I offer the care, patience, and understanding to assist children in finding safe and expressive ways to process and heal.
I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Tarleton State University where I also received my Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health and Counseling. I received my Registered Play Therapy certification through the Association for Play Therapy.
I completed my practicum and internship hours in a private practice and at elementary schools.
