My clients are typically seeking direct, compassionate, and motivational perspectives. I specialize in couples and marriage counseling, relationships, individuals with anxiety and/or trauma, substance use, familial issues, immigrant/refugee families, identity and self-esteem issues, stress management, and military lifestyles. I typically work from a Solution-Focused framework with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy homework, and attachment theory ideologies. I am very direct and like to help people identify their strengths through previous challenges and experiences they have endured to work on present and future issues that may occur.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I obtained my Masters in CFT in 2011 from TCSPP in Irvine, and my Doctor of Psychology: MFT from AIU in 2017, when I also became licensed (LMFT100354).
I have experiences with domestic violence, substance use, sexual assault, trauma, psychiatric patients, couples and marriage counseling.
I am interested in what clients want to work towards, what goals they have, and areas they want to improve.
