Hello! I received my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Regis University with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2008. I have experience in cultural stress, women's issues, marital/pre-marital, life transitions, and anxiety. My approach utilizes Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Solution Focused Brief (SFBT), Narrative, Dialectical (DBT), and Family Systems therapies. I am passionate about increasing the accessibility of mental health services in marginalized communities and providing culturally competent mental health care.
I believe you are always in the driver’s seat of your journey, and I am acting merely as a GPS. My communication style involves active listening and being direct. I provide a caring, compassionate, yet no-nonsense approach when working with you, and my therapeutic goal is to ensure that you live a healthy life and reach the goals you set for yourself.
