Tana is a North Dakota native with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Mary. She works with adults 18 and older, offering compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s goals.
Tana is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). She also incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to support clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, end-of-life transitions, and other life stressors.
She has a special interest in working with older adults and members of the LGBTQIA+ community, creating a safe, affirming space for healing. Prior to becoming a counselor, Tana worked in a long-term care facility, deepening her understanding of geriatric mental health and the importance of dignity in care.
Tana is an advocate for individual rights and believes in empowering clients through respectful, goal-oriented therapy. She offers early morning appointments starting at 7AM to accommodate busy schedules.
