About
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and have extensive experience working with children and adolescents with attention and behavior problems, anxiety, depression, autism spectrum symptoms, trauma, and self-harm behaviors. I enjoy collaborating with schools and treatment providers to create a comprehensive approach to a child's care and have advocated for children with unique academic needs in private and public schools. I also have experience and expertise in psycho-educational and neuropsychological assessment. I also provide assessment and treatment of adults of all ages and have experience treating anxiety, depression, bipolar spectrum disorders, personality disorders, stress and trauma.
I have trained at several local, nationally recognized institutions including Johns Hopkins, Kennedy Krieger, University of Maryland, and Children's National Medical Center. I regularly present trainings at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and UMD and have testified as an expert witness and presented at conferences for my psychological expertise.
Choosing a therapist is a difficult, important decision. My first goal when meeting a client is to help them feel comfortable in treatment and to get to know them on a clinical and personal level. Therapy is a gift I can give to clients by providing skills that they can take throughout their lives.
