About
I was initially trained in addiction counseling for adolescents, thus I'm more verbal than alot of therapists. I believe that most personal growth is done outside the session with homework assignments, active behavioral changes, and challenging irrational self-talk.
I teach cognitive-restructuring and provide a safe environment for the client to evaluate the current course of their lives. I work with addictions, eating disorders, depression and anxiety.
I still love the teenagers...I'm a bit of a big kid myself and for some reason they usually will talk to me, even after the big bad parents have MADE them come.
