Being a parent is hard, and I am here to help. I love working with children and teenagers. I have worked in the public school system providing counseling and educational evaluations for upwards of two decades. I have helped numerous kids develop higher senses of self-esteem and self-awareness by equipping them with tools to regulate their emotions and work toward educational and career goals.
I am an understanding and caring therapist. I believe children are to be related to and understood. I believe children have a longing to be heard, to be recognized as a person of value. Once a child is noticed, listened to, heard, and responded to that this is a freeing process that allows them to draw on their inner resources for growth and self-direction.
