I specialize in working with persons who have experienced trauma and primarily use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) therapy to heal past wounds. EMDR's mission is to create global healing, health and hope. EMDR therapy has been recognized in research studies as being effective in many areas, yet is particularly effective for persons who have witnessed or experienced traumatic events. It is common for people who have experienced trauma to develop negative self beliefs and operate from a negative viewpoint. Negative self beliefs can lead to depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and unhealthy relationships.
I believe the present can be positively impacted by healing past wounds, which is my primary focus. I would love the opportunity to walk along with you along your healing journey.
