I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in TX and NM with over 18 of experience in the mental health field. I am also a Certified Professional Life and Wellness Coach and trained EMDR therapist. Prior to my mental health experience, taught first grade and later worked in the High School setting which allowed me to assist with multiple family dynamics, adolescent struggles and crisis interventions within the school setting. I later worked in the hospital assisting multiple clinics along with the acute behavioral health department and most recently worked with Combat Veterans to assist with PTSD and transitioning to civilian lifestyle.
My therapeutic approach provides support and intentional feedback to help clients effectively address personal life changes using a variety of modalities. I meet clients where they are at by utilizing a strength base approach with compassion and understanding. This allows them the opportunity to be themselves and speak freely to cultivate positive change.
