My primary focus is to assist emergency responders, dispatchers, and other public safety personnel, military vets, and their families who have experienced a critical incident. Critical incidents can be traumatic to the brain and lead to repetitive images, sounds, and smells that won't go away. Common symptoms are increased startle response, sleep disturbance, nightmares, flashbacks, anxiety, depression and anger outbursts. Sometimes the brain needs help in healing.
I can help you process traumatic events so that you can heal. I specialize in trauma informed therapy. I am trained in EMDR. I hold a safe space for individuals to talk through their struggles so that they can heal. I do not judge. I also work with individuals struggling with addiction, depression and anxiety.
