Education and Experience:I completed a Master of Arts in the Clinical Mental Health program at Rowan University. I have been involved in the field of mental health for a number of years, more recently I completed a one-year long practicum with Center for Family Services, under the Services Empowering the Rights of Victims program. While there, I was responsible for completing comprehensive clinical assessments of our clients. Prior to that, I completed a legal clerkship in a jurisdiction within one of the nation's heaviest caseloads and for a judge known for handling high-profile cases of national significance.
I left there because I felt more and more compelled to pursue a degree in mental health counseling as it has always been my desire to help people heal.
My experiences while employed, have allowed me to gain experience in responding to behavioral issues, in utilizing behavioral or cognitive interventions to assist individuals, and in assisting individuals with daily life problems.
