I help clients to be at ease in therapy, and offer compassionate care crafted by 25 years of private practice experience with individual adults, couples, families, adolescents— including experience in working with multicultural persons, ethnic minority clients, and LGBTQ clients. Creating a space of care and respect for you and your unique journey, I carefully match your needs and personality style to evidence-based practice. My passion is helping you move forward. Often, we need to reclaim a healthy space after suffering from depression, anxiety or trauma.
Others seek help in healing a wounded relationship. Families seek assistance in adapting to changing circumstances or challenging relationships with their adolescent children. We live in a complex, information-overload society in which we might feel intense pressure to be, do, or look very different from who we are at our core.
The single best predictor of positive outcome in therapy is the client-counselor relationship, called the therapeutic alliance. Groups
Coping Better with Chronic Illness
This group focuses on psychoeducation and support for persons coping with multiple and/or severe chronic illness, and meets virtually. Appropriate for persons who are seeking balance, self-esteem, and stress management skills due to chronic illness. This group is not appropriate for persons who are moderately or severely depressed. Email TammiLMHC@gmail.com or call our office at 765-703-2720 if you are interested in taking part in an upcoming group. Cost: $225 for eight, 60-75 minute group sessions. Groups limited to 8 participants. (Not covered by insurance; full payment due prior to first group session.)
