For the past 20 years I have worked with children and families who have been faced with traumas in their lives. I am passionate about helping people move past the difficulties that life has thrown in their paths and move toward living the fullest that life has to offer.
From a strengths based approach, I use evidence based protocols, such as EMDR, CBT, and mindfulness. Interventions are tailored to meet specific client needs.
My practice is grounded in utilizing trauma informed and evidence based practices. I have many years of experience working with clients who have experienced trauma. I am familiar with how trauma can manifest and its many different symptoms. I also believe in a holistic approach so that not only symptoms are being treated, but the person as a whole.
