Welcome to my private practice and thank you for your interest in working with me. I started my private practice in 2015 and have extensive experience working with individuals, couples, and families. Currently, I provide individual therapeutic services to clients residing in the States of New Jersey and Virginia, Sound and Vibrational Therapies, and Mindfulness Meditation instruction for individuals, groups, and businesses. Practicing as a sole proprietor, most services are available online. Sound and Vibrational Therapies are available in person. I also conduct an online ten-week Mindfulness Meditation program on a quarterly basis.
I have assisted clients with a wide range of concerns including diagnosable disorders such as depression, anxiety, mood dysregulation, anger, personality disorders, Bipolar Disorder, and PTSD. I specialize in CBT, DBT, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.
My counseling style is warm, empathic, nonjudgmental, supportive, and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I am here to support, guide, and empower you to achieve your goals. DBT Skills Group
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is based on a foundation that allows for the learning of new skills for dealing with your feelings, changing how you behave, managing your relationships more effectively, and breaking out of the cycle of never ending crisis. DBT Skills Groups is psychoeducation based and allows you to build self awareness, increase distress tolerance, improve personal relationships, and attend to distressing thoughts more effectively. DBT skills Group can be a stand alone for skills development or is the perfect accompaniment to your current psychotherapy treatment. EVERYONE can benefit from interweaving DBT skills into the everyday moments of our lives!
