I believe we are all capable of positive change, healing, and growth and I enjoy working with individuals who share this mindset. Sometimes we get stuck in life's challenges and would benefit from the compassion and skill of a therapist. I received my Master of Counseling in 2006. Since then, I have worked in a variety of behavioral health settings. The majority of my work has been with teens and adults struggling with behavioral health issues including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, self-harm, and co-occurring disorders.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist-Individual (CCTS-I), my approach is strength-based, holistic, trauma-informed, direct, compassionate, empathic, and non-judgmental. I use a variety of modalities including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Person-Centered.
I am a committed, culturally sensitive therapist who works collaboratively with individuals to identify goals and assist with developing a plan in which to achieve those goals. I provide a variety of treatment options and structure the sessions based on the needs of the individual.
