I have over 10 years professional experience and over 27 years volunteer experience. Areas that I have focused on include addiction, depression, anxiety, PTSD, anger management, stress management, identifying emotions and emotional wellbeing, communicating effectively and working through life changes; empty nest, marital change, career change, etc... I am a Christian counselor that also recognizes that we are all individuals and take that approach with my clients. I use an eclectic approach to therapy but primarily focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness Therapy.
I have worked in the mental health field in many different environments. Areas of experience include addiction, trauma, veteran issues, bereavement and relationship issues. I have professional experience working with senior adults and their families, veterans, Active Duty military/families and individuals/ families struggling with addiction.
