A client once reflected, "You help us have hard conversations." I help individuals, couples, and families talk about the stuff no one wants to talk about. Grief, loss, death, dying, moving to memory care, etc - these aren't dinner table conversations folks want to have. But we need to have them. That's where I come in.
I am here to support folks going through hard things. Life transitions, grief and loss (death and non-death related), facing chronic or terminal illness, or general mental health concerns such as anxiety or depression.
I bring a calm presence, expertise and experience, as well as a gentle yet direct approach to hard conversations. I have over 15 years of experience working in the areas of aging, chronic and terminal illness, death and dying, and grief. I am passionate about these areas at least in part because, for the most part, no one wants to talk about them.
I'm open to new clients for telehealth in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Florida, and South Carolina as well as Supervisees in MN or WI seeking independent clinical licensure.

I am currently offering a monthly therapy group for women who are caring for a parent with dementia. This group has been running for over 2 years! We talk about various topics ranging from the emotional aspects of caregiving as well as logistical challenges and decisions.
