I enjoy working with individuals who require longer-term care and more specialized treatment. Many of the clients I serve have experienced disenfranchisement within the healthcare system, often judged, overlooked, or misunderstood due to the complexity of their experiences.
Some of my work often resonates with individuals who do not identify with traditional Christian frameworks and instead align more spiritual and other alternative belief systems. I meet these clients with cultural awareness and clinical competency, offering care that feels both respectful and familiar, without judgment, minimization, or defense.
I have a strong passion for analytical psychology and for working with individuals who require longer-term care and more specialized treatment including DBT. Clients who hold spiritual beliefs and choose me for that reason, therapy may intentionally incorporate spiritual language, symbolism, or other cultural meaning-making when clinically appropriate.
I do not view complexity as a liability. I openly acknowledge that my approach may be considered untraditional by some. However, I believe that when individuals have tried numerous conventional paths without relief, there must be space for curiosity, flexibility, and evolution in care.
