When a child has experienced trauma, it can affect the entire family. You may notice changes in your child’s emotions, behaviors, or sense of safety. As a parent you may feel unsure how to help everyone move forward after such a frightening experience. I work closely with parents and caregivers to support healing at both the individual and family level, helping families restore trust, connection, and stability after one of the hardest experiences of their lives. Together, we focus not only on recovery, but on helping your child grow stronger, more connected, and confident moving forward. You do not have to navigate this alone.
I specialize in trauma-informed therapy with children, adolescents, young adults, and families who may be struggling with the effects of trauma and/or the subsequent mood challenges that follow. I offer a supportive space to process trauma, build coping skills, regulate emotions, and regain confidence to move forward feeling more grounded and in control.
Clients heal at different rates and I meet them and their families where they are at and individualize treatment based on their capacity. If you are seeking a calm, supportive, and specialized child trauma therapist who partners with families to heal and flourish after trauma, I would be glad to connect and see if my practice is a good fit.
