About
I am a clinical therapist and addiction counselor with over two decades of experience. I know what it takes to make a difference using passion, knowledge, and warmth. Life isn’t meant to walk through alone and humanness is a condition of life. I serve as a helper-guide and believe that everyone possesses important qualities. The choices made today affect tomorrow. I strive to ensure that every one feels heard, understood, respected and empowered. I embrace education and change, and support you in reaching your goals in order to lead a confident, fulfilled life. I am dedicated to maintaining evidence-based practices.
My experience ranges from inpatient treatment, partial hospitalization, low and high intensity residential programs, outpatient treatment, and nursing homes. I have provided consultation to the correctional system, emergency rooms, hospitals, and served as a crisis response staff. I am versed in supporting people with a range of needs and functioning.
The therapy relationship is the cornerstone that success is built on. Wellness is measured in many ways and I focus on the whole person – mind, body, and spirit. As an open-minded, Christian and Midwest native I value hard work, practicality, and hold a responsibility to others, and the community. I love animals, the outdoors, and creative outlets.
