My area of expertise focuses on children and parents; however, I actively seek clients of all ages. I have recent and particular success with young and middle age adults. Issues may include depression, anxiety, grief and loss, low self esteem, identity development, spiritual questions, or significant life transitions, among others. I work with clients towards greater wholeness, self acceptance, relational satisfaction and overall wellness in their lives. I especially enjoy working with, and am a strong advocate for, clients with an introverted temperamental style and/or highly sensitive nature.

In addition to holding a license as a mental health counselor, I was a certified school counselor for 20 years and have worked in various mental health and educational settings. I have also served as an adjunct faculty member in the counseling and school psychology graduate program in a local university.
