My belief around therapy is to focus on what you want to accomplish, drawing from strengths you already possess. My style tends to be more active and interactive. Often individuals and couples face an impasse & may realize they might not have the tools to move forward. For some, it may be an ongoing concern like managing anxiety/depression, enhancing communication, healing from 'the past'. For some, there is an experience or event that is prohibiting forward movement.
I offer support in the form of traditional talk therapy, coupled with EMDR and/or Somatic Experiencing. What that translates to is - you get to tell your 'story' and we get to reprocess it so that you are free to make different choices. You will find insight into your patterns and ways to engage in life as you want to.
