Tamara Hubbard
Counselor, MA, LCPC
Whatever your journey might be, I'll use a supportive, strength-based and solution-focused approach to help you through it. Maybe you need help making tough personal, parenting, or relationship decisions? Perhaps you're seeking a better life balance so you don't feel pulled in so many different directions? Or maybe you're finding it hard to accept certain aspects of life? I'll help you understand yourself and others more deeply, while learning ways to cope and make decisions more effectively. In addition to general individual counseling, I also work with parents and families on goals related to the family unit.
I also specialize in helping individuals & families managing food allergies, especially parents & caregivers. My food allergy knowledge and experience gives me a unique understanding, which allows me to effectively help those navigating the emotional and social aspects. My counseling style is supportive & compassionate, yet solution-focused.
For individual counseling, I see clients 16+, but will work w/ all ages that are managing food allergies. I offer a free 15-minute initial phone consultation, so don't hesitate to reach out and connect with me. The office is conveniently located by Harper College and easily accessible by 53 or 90. *(I'm also available to provide educational workshops.)*
