Hello! My name is Tammy and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). I earned my Master’s degree from New Mexico Highlands University in 2008. While attending New Mexico Highlands University, I focused on mental health and theories in behavior. I have experience in various mental health diagnoses, trauma treatment, and extensive grief therapy. I also have experience and knowledge in interdisciplinary leadership, family-centered practices, and grief interventions which have provided me with the tools to help those who are facing mental stressors, behavioral disturbances, and/or grief-related depression and anxiety.
I am trained in EMDR, PSR, and Internal Family systems. I have a strong passion for working with persons who have been affected by trauma, mental illness, or grief. I utilize many other modes like play therapy, MI, CBT, and a variety of art and relaxation techniques.
