In our work together we will form a collaborative partnership where I will be an active participant. Through this process of growth and discovery, my goal is to help you strengthen and access your own inner wisdom. In my practice, I work with clients on issues of anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and trauma, as well as relationship issues, identity issues and frustration in career path. I utilize my experience as a therapist in top addiction and eating disorder treatment centers.
Overall, I believe in assessing approaches that best fit the individual's needs. While I am trained in a variety of approaches, I work mainly from a psychodynamic perspective. This means our work will focus on understanding repetitive patterns and draw on dynamics in our own therapeutic relationship to guide this process.
