About
People seek therapy for so many reasons, but mostly we all want to feel loved, safe and understood. We want to feel a sense purpose & feel good enough as we are, and yet so many of us struggle to feel these ways. Sometimes our lives look very different than we imagined & we need help making sense out of things. We might be feeling disconnected or numb, uncertain or alone. We might be questioning the direction we are heading and need to find some clarity or hope. Self compassion & radical self-acceptance are cornerstones of my work. I'd like to explore these concepts with you and help you make meaning of your life and sense of self.
I enjoy working with individuals & couples who embody a strong curiosity & commitment to learning how to heal their hearts, minds and spirits and to feel genuine connection to themselves and others. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals & families. I am certified in modalities related to addiction, trauma, and mindfulness-based practices.
I believe we heal in relationship with others, including our unique and sacred relationship with our therapist. I aim to provide a safe, connected space for people to find meaning, value, and purpose in their lives. My approach is non-judgmental, direct and empathetic. Collaboratively we will find solutions and invite and hold space for all our big feelings.
