As a counselor with 16 years experience, I believe in the human capacity for healing and change. I work with adults, adolescents, and children over 6 years old, both individually and in couples and family therapy. I often work with those who are struggling to cope with grief, stress, interpersonal relationships, and/or substance abuse. My goal is to provide a safe space for you to process your thoughts, feelings, reactions, and behaviors in order to develop a new outlook and find new ways to respond to life. I will strive to empower you, helping you to make improvements that are positive, effective, and meaningful to your goals.
I have developed an eclectic mix of evidence-based strategies to meet your needs. My approach is strengths-based, utilizes cognitive behavioral approaches and trauma-focused practices. We will work together to bring balance to your emotional and internal responses, incorporating mindfulness and self-compassion into your treatment plan.

Using your existing strengths, we can move forward to better manage stress, develop new coping skills, increase your well-being, heal, build confidence, and develop healthier relationships with yourself and others.
