Parenting Skills
This ACS-accredited group will provide parenting skills that help parents to better manage children, from toddlers to teens. The program highlights strategies for parents to develop communication skills that enhance the parent-child relationship and reduce negative communication patterns. Skills-building activities target active listening skills, emotional communication, parent-child non-disciplinary interactions, and ways to help children to identify their feelings and appropriately deal with emotions.
