I deeply understand there is no quick fix around grief and anguish; to re-emerge whole again we must be in a safe space, supported and validated. Through empowering you to share your story, make meaning out of your experiences and tend to your grief, I am here to guide the understanding that it's possible to grieve and be grateful at the same time. My approach to therapy is centered around creating a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, gain insight into their behaviors, and learn new strategies for coping with stress and difficulties.
I will help you recognize your resiliency, build on your strengths, grow in acceptance and positive change and move forward. We will use evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-Based Therapy to help clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
I value compassion, trust, empathy and personal development. I believe each person's journey through life's experiences and struggles make us who we are. It is my honor to work with adults experiencing grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, marital or relationship issues and life transitions.
