Therapy is an incredible place to get to know yourself and grow through some of life’s most challenging experiences and events. I wish to offer a safe space to explore, learn and address your concerns and worries. I have experience helping both teens and adults of various backgrounds, and orientations including the LGBTQIA+ community. I wish to empower clients to accomplish their goals, live in their truth, and make the changes they deem necessary for themselves.
I mainly utilize a psychodynamic approach to my work but incorporate cognitive and play/art therapy techniques. It is also important for me to work from a trauma sensitive, culturally humble, and strength-based stance with all of my clients. My counseling skills alongside my approachable demeanor, attitude, and humor fosters a relational therapy experience.
