Therapy for me is a process where two people, one with a complaint and the other with professional training and experience, will work together to analyze and reflect on one's complaint, issues, and choices. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds and cultures, who might have experienced adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), trauma (verbal, emotional, physical, and sexual abuse), anxiety, and depression. I also provide therapy in Brazilian Portuguese
I'm an integrative counselor and art therapist with a Jungian background, with a specialization from Brazil in Analytical Psychology, trainings in Sandplay, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), experience with play therapy, active imagination, dream analysis, guided imagery, word association, and CBT to tailor your treatment.
Being in therapy provided me with the opportunity to experience both sides of the therapeutic process and the beauty of it. I experienced all of my practices, and I continue to learn with my clients and for my clients. It will be an honor working with you and finding out what therapy is for you.
