I have experience working with a culturally diverse population of individuals. My clients range from age 6 to age 65. Most of my experience is working with children, teens, young adults, adults, and families. I believe the greatest success is to accompany the client on their journey and to be the guide to navigate through the challenges of life. I regard the client to be the expert in their lives and it is important for them to discuss their goals and their expectations. My clients who experience the greatest success are motivated and ready to work, open-minded, flexible, introspective, honest, and trusting.
I have experience working with individuals who have experienced addictions, trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship problems. I also have experience working with children diagnosed with autism and ADHD and helping parents navigate through the behaviors presented by implementing different modalities.
Many individuals feel alone when difficult times arise, however, it always helps to develop skills and a different perspective on problems while developing a plan to solve that problem. It is my desire to help individuals accept the idea they can work to make things better instead of accepting things as they currently exist.
