I have worked in the human services field for over 20 years and have been a licensed social worker since 2010. Throughout that time, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds as they navigate a wide range of life challenges. Many of the individuals I have worked with have experienced traumas that have led to struggles with either their emotional/mental well being and/or substance use. I deeply believe that regardless of the struggles people experience, everyone is capable of being a better version of themself and building a quality of life that gives them meaning and purpose.
My training includes Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, and Seeking Safety, along with a number of other evidence-based treatment modalities. My approach is integrative and person-centered — I tailor therapy to meet each person where they are.
